About Me
Marilyn Ventresca DiChiara is a graduate of the Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut. After working in the commercial field as a graphic designer and illustrator, she now devotes her creative time to developing her skills as a fine artist. Although a painter of several mediums, the characteristics of watercolors are most appealing to her. She has received numerous awards in juried competitions for both her watercolor and colored pencil pieces; two Grumbacher Gold Medallions are included among her many honors. Marilyn is a member of the Northeast Watercolor
Society, Kent Artist Association, and The Watertown Art League. Her art is on display at Center Framing & Art in
West Hartford.
